Naming and brand identity for Stealth Industries – a new startup business from owners of the successful Wesfel Electrical.
The name and brand needed to appeal to a narrower market than the electrical business – the savvy high-end customer seeking security and automation installed in their home or commercial property. Types of services covered include CCTV, automation systems controlling electrical appliances, lighting, heating, audio visual, pumps, gates etc and entry systems.
The distinctive name Stealth Industries was chosen to stand out from the competitors’ more generic names. ‘Stealth’ talking to the under-the-radar product nature and ‘Industries’, a tongue-in-cheek reference to a super hero type business. The van design would surely be admired by Batman!
The brand symbol is the hero visual, with a clean geometric line form. A clever optical illusion creates impossible perspective and depth alluding that ‘big brother’ is watching from the centre of the ‘camera’ eye. The look is carried into the secondary icons and the tech inspired brand typeface.
The applications all have black backgrounds playing to the 'after dark' stealth feel. A luxury look for the target market is given to the business cards with rose gold foil on heavy card stock. The metallic colour is replicated on digital versions of the logo with a shiny gradient. The clean image style also ties into the brand palette.
