Comfortel

Photographic art direction and design of a product brochure for Comfortel, a distributor of high end hairdressing furniture and beauty equipment. Taking this company into different territory to appeal to their fashion forward customers was a real challenge as previous marketing material were heavily product focussed. Comfortel's alliance with Miss World Australia led to the idea to feature her in a stylised fashion shoot shot by Marvin Joseph. Her posture in the images emulates the lines of the furniture and gives the shots a visual wit. While the elegant back-lit photography style shows the products to the full effect. A red highlight was used subtly to bring out the Comfortel brand colour. Completed while working at Hayman design.
