Brand identity and infographics for startup Loose Change Vending Co (LCVC).
Teasing out the competitor difference was the key, showing that LCVC was challenging the norm of vending machine brands through reliable, quality machines, service promise and convenient offer. The brand also needed to be visually and tonally friendly and relate to a retail experience.
The logo directly connects with the name and was designed to look like an graphic circular coin form being placed into a machine slot. Chunky type gives a bold retail feel.
Stylised icons enhance the brand environment conveying process, convenience and products without having to show photographic images.
A pared back colour palette gives strong presence. Ice blue is heroed with fresh white backgrounds and contrasting accents of grey and black.
Applications are kept simple, clean and utalise rounded corners on the business card, vending machine stickers and letterhead banner.
Brand tone of voice developed with copywriter Rob Sweeten of ‘That Writer Guy’.
